Follow these few tips below

1. Best Planting Time: Plant cassava at the start of the rainy season (around November to April) to use natural rainfall.

2. Method of Planting:
Use healthy stem cuttings from mature plants.
Plant the cuttings at a slant or horizontally in shallow furrows.
Planting Depth: Plant cuttings 5 to 20 cm (2 to 8 inches) deep, ensuring most buds are above ground.

Spacing: Space the cuttings 50 to 75 cm (20 to 30 inches) apart for proper growth and air circulation.

3. Watering: Water immediately after planting and then regularly, especially if there's a lack of rain.

4. Ideal Location: Choose well-drained loamy soils in areas where crops were previously grown. Avoid waterlogged areas.

5. Handling and Maintenance:
Handle cuttings gently to avoid damage.
Keep the area weed-free, especially in early stages.
Monitor for pests and diseases, like Cassava Mosaic and Brown Streak Disease.
