This Dog Park is a Civic Community Initiative in collaboration with the normal activities of the Tshwane Municipality. A committee has been elected by the community to help manage the park and liaise with Tshwane Parks. This entails maintenance of facilities, refuse removal, security, and generally keeping the park clean, safe, and free of vehicular traffic to ensure a pleasant experience for all users. This initiative also entails the staging of events such as tree planting, litter removal days and informal dog shows to help raise funds for the upkeeping of this park. Kindly make use of the p**p bags provided within the park to dispose of your dog’s droppings into the bins during your walks in the park. We will endeavor to provide bags as far as possible. We would also like to encourage the general collection of litter, even if it is not your own. This will create a culture of a litter-free environment, a worthy cause that will meaningfully enhance your enjoyment of the unique natural features of this beautiful park.
