Half the year gone already, which also means Mandela Day has arrived again. A day we spend at the pampering all the special furbabies they have in their care. It turned out to be a stunning, warm winters day to spend outdoors giving these babies some extra love and kissies.

Thank you to my wonderful clients for your understanding and once again letting me move your furbabies so we could do this 💗. To my staff, thank you for your hard work and help in making this possible again this year. And a huge thank you to the and their staff for always being so welcoming and accommodating with all the chaos that ensues when we take over their premises 🙃🐶🐕🐾🐩. See you all for a rerun in 2026 .

Alongside Dudu and Pottie, we have our 3rd long service award for 2024. This time we acknowledge Michelle Sangweni 🙂. She also joined the Scruffy to fluffy team 10 years ago when we opened our 3rd trailer and as with the others, as they say, the rest is history. Michelle, thank you for your hard work, loyalty and dedication to both myself and Scruffy. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and haven't gone unnoticed. Today we celebrate you 🍾 🥂 🎉. ,

Recognition for long service isn't really much of a thing anymore, but I feel it is something that should be acknowledged. This time round it is Pottie Gouws. He joined the Scruffy family 10 years ago when we where opening our 3rd trailer and the rest as they say is history. Pottie, thank you for hard work, loyalty and dedication to both myself and Scruffy to fluffy. It is greatly appreciated. Today we celebrate you 🍾 🥂🎉

Happy International Doggie Day and 13th birthday to us 🎉🎉. We are officially teenagers 😂😂. Where has the time gone. It has been quite a journey to say the least. So many people have helped me reach another Scruffy birthday and I am forever grateful to all of them 🙂🙂.

Thank you to my amazing clients who have trusted us with their furbabies over the years. Your support means the world to me 💗💗. To my brother and father who are always on standby to fix and repair the trailers at a moments notice. To special friends that are always helping and supporting me behind the scenes. To my husband for putting up with all the crazy 😝😝 and last but not least, my staff. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to Scruffy and all our furbabies 🐕🐾🐶. You guys rock. Cheers to the next 13 years 🍾🥂🐾.

Mandela Day has arrived again 🙂. Every year we spend the day at the pampering the special furbabies they have in their care and we did the same again this year 💗🐾🐕. It turned out to be an amazing winters day and the perfect way to spend the day outdoors giving back and giving these doggies some extra love and kissies 🙂.

This is such a special memory that popped up today 💗💗. And coincidentally, we had Shirley's babies booked for today as well 🙂🙂. Unfortunately precious Ruby crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago 😢😢 but she will forever be in our hearts and memories like these will make sure she is never forgotten 🐾💗🐾🥰. Love you long time Ruby 💗💗

We are all taking strain in this never ending heatwave we seem to be in, so we decided to spend some time at Edenvale SPCA to give those precious furbabies a bit of a pamper session. I'm sure they feel so much better now and are all looking extra handsome and gorgeous in the hopes of finding their new forever home 🐾🐶❤️. Carmel Lorimer
