Justice for SKY...let's HELP find this @%@%@ and may justice be served!!!
🚨 Help Us Bring Justice for Sky 🚨
On 12 August 2025, our inspectors rushed to a shocking scene in Darling. Sky, a gentle brown and white dog, had suffered a brutal and unspeakable act of sexual abuse. The veterinary examination confirmed the presence of s***m, and physical evidence has been secured. This is a serious criminal offence under South African law, and we will not rest until the person responsible is convicted.
A case has been formally opened with SAPS, and we are cooperating closely with the authorities to ensure justice is served. Our staff, who care deeply for every animal, have been severely affected by this tragic incident, but they remain committed to seeing this case through to the end.
To help secure justice for Sky, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA Chairperson has personally pledged R10,000 towards a reward for information leading to the successful conviction of the perpetrator. And our Manager Louise van Zyl has set the ball rolling by Donating the first R500. We are now asking our community to help us grow this reward to motivate those who know the truth to come forward.
