Hello everyone ( fans, Following, Highlights),
We at Callensby Jack Russell Terrier Breeding Kennels are excited to announce that Ava of Callensby has been inseminated using semen from Casper II of Callensby via A.I. from 14 - 19 April.
We will be able to confirm Ava’s pregnancy with a littler on 19 May at 30 days of gestation.
Her pups will be whelped anywhere from 15-23 June and will be ready for their new homes when they are 8 weeks old between 10-18 August depending on which day they are whelped.
Our puppies are the smooth hair and short leg variety and come in tri-colour & tan and white colour combinations.
Ava is a small but slightly bulky bitch who loves to cuddle and play and cannot resist a good tummy scratch or cuddle or snooze on a pillow. She is incredibly loving and affectionate and wont sat no to anyone willing to give her some love and affection. She is a tri-colour bitch and has a lot of colour particularly on her face and back.
Casper II is a tall and slender boy with a fairly independent personality but will definitely not say no to a cuddle. He is a one person dog and is firmly attached to me and follows me everywhere. He is predominantly white dog with a bit of brown colouring over his one eye and has a super soft coat.
Our puppies are for pet homes only and come with a legally binding sales agreement that stipulates the puppies are due to be sterilized at 6 months of age at the latest and that proof of this is required.
Furthermore we do not dock our puppies tails and docking their tails post sale is strictly prohibited.
Contravention of these or any other terms in the sales agreement will result in immediate confiscation of the puppy by the relevant authorities.
None of these terms and conditions are negotiable and if you are not in agreement then please contact a different breeder.
Our puppies come with a complimentary starter kit which comes along with a bunch of goodies listed in the flyers attached and they also indicate the treatments the puppies receive and the steps we take to ensure each puppy is happy, healthy and well adjusted.
NO EXPENSE IS SPARED when it comes to the care of our dogs and puppies; and it is our ethos to breed better and better dogs and puppies with each new litter where the optimized and hoped for genotypes and phenotypes inherited from their parents are clearly expressed and observable in the conformation and temperament of this purpose-bred working breed and family companion.
Take note our puppies’ prices are reflective of this so please do not attempt to haggle or negotiate their price with us.
If their price falls out of your budget try a different breeder or adopt a Jack Russell from your local SPCA or a shelter as there are plenty of animals requiring loving families and homes.
We are based in Joburg but puppies can be flown to various airports with relative ease at your expense and we have puppies in all major and minor towns and cities in South Africa as well as farms and rural areas.
We also have a multitude of clients willing to refer our kennel, vouch for our kennel and give full accounts of their experiences with us, and we are happy to provide their contact details should you request them.
Please note a full vetting of any potential home is required and a video call is non negotiable. This is so we can help match each puppy with the best possible home so that it may have the best life possible as we feel deeply responsible for every little life that comes into being as a result of our actions and we believe every animal bred by us deserves the best life possible.
Furthermore we try to be as respectful, responsible and ethical in our breeding practices as possible so that at no point do we further contribute to the problem of overflowing shelters, SPCA’s and homeless dogs and animals. We can understand and sympathize with the adopt dont shop movement. However even if every purebred dog and breed was sterilised today; the shelters and spcas would still be overflowing with dogs and there would still be thousands of homeless dogs as yes unscrupulous, unethical, irresponsible and greedy breeders will continue to do everything to make a buck and breed as many puppies with breeding rights as possible without any concern for what happens to these animals; and irresponsible and unethical pet owners will also breed just because they feel like it without fully considering the full extent and consequences of doing so.
Thus it is evident that responsible and ethical breeders are being unfairly demonised and the fault lies with the Joe average breeder or owner, or poor income families who do not have the funds to sterilize their animals and breeding would also still occur between homeless animals.
Additionally if all purpose-bred breeds were sterilised today who in fifteen years would act as service or therapy dogs in their various roles as these dogs are bred to perform specific tasks to assist human beings in many aspects of their everyday life.
This is something everyone should consider and think about before making a judgement call or villainising specific groups especially those trying to act for the greater good.
