Happy 2nd Birthday to my bottle babies 🎉❤️

Two years ago, almost to the day, I received a frantic call from Tessa at The Furry Godmother. She had a total of 8 orphan newborns needing fosters!

I said no problem and ropped in a friend (thank you Laura 😜) and we took on 2 pups each, the other 4 found a foster together. And so my bottle feeding journey began, and boy was it tough!

The pups got sick, twice, covid struck and doing home inspections were almost impossible (hard lockdown days), on top of this, it turns out we had gotten as attached to them as what they had gotten to us.

Triton and Ariel have made a wonderful addition to our household and fill us with love and laughter on a daily basis!

~ I have been a foster fail (many times!) and really I wouldn't have it any other way. My rescues have all brought so much happiness to my life that to me it feels as though they have rescued me ❤️

Did you know that stray dogs wake up very early in the morning with the aim of looking for food and water to stop hunger?

If they find nothing, they start eating w**d to feel like they are chewing something and then end up falling asleep all day, outside a house, at bus stops, trying to save what little energy they have.

When they wake up, the hunger has not gone away; on the contrary, it has increased and they go to the garbage bags.

Please help the street dogs; we don't pretend nothing has happened, we don't turn away. Many people chase them away but they also belong to this world.

Do not be indifferent, it is terrible to suffer from hunger and thirst and not be able to speak.

Street dogs just want to survive. If you see a dog alone and looking for food, help him.

Mommy has been sterilized 🎉

This past weekend, with the help of Pet Pals, Mommy was sterilized! We have had to push back her sterilization date on two occasions due to her condition but we finally managed to get it done. She handled the op like a champ but really battled with the anesthesia 😢 Happy to report she is feeling much better now ❤️
