We have not posted in a very long time....so many things have happened in the past year and six months. After creating Rufus and Friends Pet Supplies and providing it through various shops throughout South Africa to animal lovers like us it was a huge success and we absolutely loved and adored it! Providing a service born from desperation and it becoming such a beautiful success...that is what dreams are made of! So once again and as we all know...life happens. Regretfully we do not have products on the shelves anymore. And that is okay. We have each other and we are living and we have our furbabies. Then horrible tragedy struck us...In October 2024 someone poisoned RUFUS. We tried everything for three weeks to save his life. Blood transfusion included. He suffered. We had to let him go. IT WAS HEARTWRENCHINGLY HEARTBREAKING. We let him go and a piece of our hearts died with him.....
Luna our black labrador was lonely. She needed a mate. In December 2024 we booked Benny at Nigel SPCA. He came in January 2025 and he is now Jessie and a real awesome jellybean goofball! He chose our son Luca as his master immediately. He eats tv remote controls and sunglasses. He loves his bed. He is crazy! He does RUFUS justice.
With this we would like to thank family and friends who supported us and followed our story. We are so thankful. This page will continue though! We are always still passionate about animals and animal care! Pics of our DARLING RUFUS of RufusandFriends and our beautiful new boy JESSIE!

Yesterday was BROWN DOG DAY. I honestly do not know who makes these days and how this is decided but any way. This is to our RUFUS. The goofiest chocolate Labrador around. He is so vocal there is definately a HUSKY in his family lineage. He is the scariest angriest protector of our yard. He is my shadow and most loyal protector. The sweetest boy who LOVES FOOD. Cheers to you RUFUS we absolutely adore you!
