Californian rabbits have temperature-sensitive coats! 😲Their distinctive dark markings on the ears, nose, feet, and tail develop because those parts of the body are cooler. The cooler 🥶the area, the darker the fur grows — that’s why kits born in colder climates often have even more pronounced markings!
