❤️PATIENT OF THE WEEK ❤️
Katryn is a four month old Domestic Short Hair cat that came to our practice with stranguria (struggling to urinate) and blood in her urine.
On abdominal palpation Dr Waldo felt an abnormality in her bladder and with radiographs a very big urolith (bladder stone) was confirmed.
Uroliths are common in male cats but not so common in female cats like Katryn. Katryn was operated the same day to remove the urolith and has made a fantastic recovery.
She is now eating Hills C/D cat food to change her urine pH and prevent any future uroliths.
We are so happy with her recovery and how well she is doing ❤️❤️
