A lovely, kind new friend did this of me with my two precious kitties, Maya and Gemma who are no longer with me.

This is what she wrote and sent me with the photo:

"Some bonds never leave our hearts. 🐾💔

Even though life forced us onto different paths, the love shared between you and your beautiful cats will always remain special. They were clearly loved deeply, cared for tenderly, and lucky to have known your kindness.

This little memory is just a reminder that love like that never truly disappears, it stays in the paw prints left on our hearts forever. 🤍"

I've had the pleasure of looking after my favourite home and pets (dogs, Mona Mie and Minu and ducks, Romey and Maple) in Lovemore Heights over the Easter weekend. Sadly, Maple got out their enclosed area and got her head injured and I found her lying dead on the outside of their coup just before I left. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious duck, Anique.

I am house and dogsitting two dear doggies in Summerstand from the 24th December until the 2nd January 2026. The white male Maltese, named Magic sleeps on the carpet in my room every night. The black Scottish Terrier, named Molly has Diabetes and is so good when receiving her insulin injections twice a day.

Haydn and Christine, thank you for trusting me to stay in your home and to look after your precious furbabies. It is really a pleasure staying here.
