Remember our little Optel? The 9/10-year-old Jack Russell who somehow missed the memo about Jack Russells being little troublemakers? 😂

Well, Optel had a plan. A very clever plan!

Step 1: Move into a foster home. ✅
Step 2: Be ridiculously adorable. ✅
Step 3: Wrap everyone around those little paws. ✅
Step 4: Make absolutely sure nobody ever wants you to leave. ✅

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🏡❤️

Optel is officially a FOSTER FAIL! 🎉

No more searching for a forever home. No more adoption posts. This little lady has found exactly where she belongs!

To Optel's wonderful foster family, thank you for opening your home and then deciding to keep your hearts permanently occupied! 😂❤️

Some fosters are temporary. Some dogs have other plans!

🚨 UNPOPULAR OPINION: NOT EVERY ANIMAL LOVER SHOULD OWN A DOG.

There. We said it.

You can absolutely love dogs and still not be in a position to own one.

You can adore puppies but not have time for an adult dog.

You can love the idea of a loyal companion but not want the responsibility that comes with it.

And that's perfectly okay.

You know what's not okay?

Getting a dog because you want one, without considering whether you can give that dog the life it deserves.

There's absolutely no shame in saying:

"I love dogs, but I'm not ready for one."

In fact, that might be one of the most responsible decisions you'll ever make.

LOVING DOGS DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO OWN ONE.

Sometimes loving them means knowing when not to.
