Amy’s family and friends are deeply committed to honoring her final wishes by supporting Amy’s projects & continuing her legacy of “Pay It Forward,” especially to those less fortunate.🩷 Amy Bell was known as a tenacious horsewoman, a seasoned traveler, an accomplished hunter, a dedicated philanthropist, and a “best friend” to many. She loved horses, dogs, her family and friends, and she loved the

Lord. She lived life with no handlebars, and she loved everyone to the ends of the earth. Her sudden death on May 16, 2014 left a void in the lives of her family and friends worldwide. This page is dedicated to the work that she began many years ago.

Sometimes paying it forward begins with seeing a need and finding a way to help. 💙

We’re grateful to Battleground Chapter of SCI for carrying the Bell Family Blue Bag Program beyond this visit to South Africa. 🇿🇦

What began with their first Blue Bag has now led to plans for continued support of this local community, exactly the kind of ripple effect we love to see.

Taking hope further. 🩷

The WaSPP journey didn’t end with the launch of the WaSPP (Washable Sanitary Pad Project) in Namibia in June.

Over the past few days, washable sanitary pad kits have continued reaching girls in rural communities across Namibia, helping them stay in school and continue their education. Alongside the kits, educational supplies were also shared with schools to support learners in practical ways. 🎓🇳🇦

One of the most special parts of this journey has been seeing Lavinia, a former Mount Etjo School and Amy Bell Charities scholarship student, now giving back as a teacher at Mount Etjo School.

Thank you to Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, the Nyimba Foundation, Annette Oelofse, Carola Oelofse, Kitty van Wyk, Tina Haimbala, Lavinia, and every woman who gave of her time, heart, and energy to make these distributions possible.

This is what paying it forward looks like. 💙

Last week, the Amy Bell Charities team visited four schools in Patensie to continue supporting children and families affected by the devastating floods in May. 💙

Many families lost far more than homes and belongings. Children also lost the everyday essentials they needed for school. 📖🖊️

Together with our local team and the generosity of so many supporters, individually packed backpacks and bags were prepared for each child, containing school uniforms, shoes, warm jackets, stationery, toiletries, and other practical essentials to help them return to school.

Spending time with the learners, teachers, and school communities, and seeing the children’s joy as they received their bags, was a meaningful reminder of the impact that kindness and generosity can have.

Thank you to everyone supporting the Patensie Flood Relief Effort. Your generosity through prayers and donations is helping children stay in school with the practical essentials they need, while continuing to support families affected by the floods. 💙

Celebrating a milestone. 🎓💙

Congratulations to Hilka on graduating with her Bachelor of Nursing Science and Honours Degree in Nursing from Welwitchia University.

Along the way, Amy Bell Charities, together with Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, was able to support Hilka as she pursued her studies.

Today, we celebrate not only a graduation, but the lives she will go on to impact as a nurse.

Congratulations, Hilka. We are so proud of you. 🏆
