What an incredible happy ending! ❤️

Remember our little Parvo pup, Fluffy? We are overjoyed to share that Fluffy has made a full recovery! 🐾

Her owner followed every single instruction to the letter, and that dedication made all the difference. We are incredibly proud of his commitment and grateful that Fluffy fought so hard and pulled through.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr Kriel for your excellent care. Your treatment worked beautifully, and because of teamwork, dedication, and a little fighter's spirit, Fluffy has a second chance at life.

Stories like this remind us why we never give up. 💙

Today's mission? Four ladies off for their spa day (otherwise known as sterilisation), one very old gentleman lovingly helped to cross the Rainbow Bridge and 6 surrendered puppies.

People often think animal welfare is all cuddles and wagging tails... but let me tell you, today's perfume was "Eau de Dog, Puppy P**p & Empty Stomach!" 🤢😂

With six crates packed into the car before the sun was properly up, the smells were enough to test even the strongest stomach. Let's just say breakfast had to wait!

This is the side of animal rescue that no one talks about. We don't just cuddle puppies—we clean messes, carry crates, comfort scared animals, shed a few tears, and occasionally question our life choices when the windows refuse to clear the aroma! 🤣

But honestly... we wouldn't have it any other way. Every sterilisation means fewer unwanted litters, every rescue means another life gets a second chance, and every kilometre travelled is worth it for the pets of the Langkloof.

Our noses may not agree... but our hearts certainly do. ❤️🐾

Today we are truly humbled and filled with gratitude.

A heartfelt thank you to Sandra Hardie for her fascinating and inspiring talk on Goedgeloof and the history of St Francis Bay. Sandra's incredible storytelling had everyone completely captivated—bringing laughter, touching hearts, and reminding us of the power of compassion and community.

The story of Sophie the Greyhound, who came from Kareedouw and became the catalyst for much-needed change, was especially moving and will stay with us for a long time.

We at ARK Animal Rescue Kareedouw and Langkloof extend our sincere thanks to Sandra Hardie, St Francis Links for so generously providing the beautiful venue, and Max Gut Health for the wonderful gifts.

A very special thank you also goes to Greg Wilton for his incredibly generous bid on the infamous Karee Beer. Your kindness and support will help us continue changing the lives of animals in need.
