They work directly with the puppy scammers.

Here’s what you should watch out for:
1. Unrealistic prices: Scammers will often offer “too good to be true” prices to lure you in.
2. Fake websites & social media: Always double-check website URLs and social media accounts for legitimacy. Look for official contact details and registration numbers.
3. Requests for up-front payments: Never pay in full upfront for a pet or service without verifying the company’s credentials.
4. No physical address or contact info: If you can’t find any trace of a real office or team, be cautious!
How to protect yourself:

Say hello to Archie and Maggie, two stunning little dachshunds who’ve just completed a journey fit for furry royalty! 👑🐶

These two checked into Pet on the 5th of September 2024, where they were lovingly cared for while all the behind-the-scenes magic was happening. From South Africa to Montreal with Qatar Airways — what an incredible journey for our brave boy Bono, who is finally HOME and reunited with his loving family! 🐶❤️

There’s nothing quite like that first tail wag at reunion time — and Bono’s family was prepped and ready to make his final stretch to his forever home as smooth and comfy as possible. 🏡✨

We love their thoughtful setup for the family's trip home and it’s a great reminder for all families:

🛬 Travel crate is yours to keep! Some airports charge a disposal fee, so plan ahead — reuse it or donate to a local rescue.
🧻 Essentials for the ride home: wet wipes, baby powder, towels, and a blanky go a long way (because let’s face it, who smells fresh after a long-haul flight, right? 😅).
🚘 Plan for breaks and take it easy — your fur baby’s done something BIG and might be overwhelmed that he is finally reunited with family.
💧 Keep fresh water available and limit food until they’ve settled in. A little plain chicken makes a perfect recovery snack!

💛 The hard work is DONE. The adventure is complete. And Bono? He’s HOME.
