This week's throwback goes to my first junior horse - born on our farm - "Kokopilau" a TB X Arab (Anglo Arab) who reached 17h (his parents were only 15.2 hands at most)

we had a such an incredible bond this boy and I - I remember the day I backed him, I was 13 years old and he was 3 going on 4,i decided to hop on him in his paddock with the herd and ride him up to the stables with not even a halter on, he had such faith in me, whatever I asked he was willing to try (I'll just add he gave the meanest bucks whenever he got a little fresh or any other horse overtook him, to this day I haven't sat a buck quite as savage as what he could throw 😂)

when it came to competing we excelled in eventing, showing and show jumping - before he went to his forever home and continued to excel as a show jumper with the best partner I could have wished for

He is now retired and living his best life ❤️

Victor and Caity had their first training showing show together ✨

Ofcourse I'm so proud of my student and her horsemanship, after only working with Victor for a few months she was incredibly calm for her first ever show!

It truly was a magical day as Victor the unicorn, officially become ours that and his forever home is with & echo_rain ✨🦄

✨Victor✨ has been with us at - Savvy stud for whole year and we are so grateful for every day we've had with him, although he breaks fences as often as most horse riders nails 💅 he's been such a gentleman, healed many hearts including my own.

To many more adventures together big boy ✨
