WELCOME TO À SUIVRE EQUESTRIAN

We’re excited to officially welcome Léane Meyer to the À Suivre Equestrian representative network in North West.

“I worked at Capital Stud for nearly two years as a work rider, where I gained experience riding and working with a variety of horses. During that time, I was involved in two auctions, and in my second year I became much more involved with clients during tryouts — helping my managers match horses to what buyers were looking for and assisting throughout the viewing process.

I would describe myself as a patient and quiet rider, with a focus on producing horses in a calm and consistent way.

I competed up to 1.10m at SANESA and also took part in a few graded shows before finishing school at 18.

What I really love about the idea behind your service is how personal and tailored it is for both buyers and sellers. I think having trusted riders involved adds real value, especially when it comes to helping buyers feel confident and ensuring horses are matched to suitable homes. I also really appreciate that it creates opportunities for riders to stay involved with quality horses in a professional and flexible way. “

Do you have a horse or equestrian-related items to sell but no time to handle it yourself?
We’re here to help with:

- Marketing your horse/pony for sale and matching horses to the best possible homes.
- Selling equestrian items on your behalf.
- Work riding and competing.

If you’d want your horse/pony marketed by us:

Send us quality photos of your horse via WhatsApp, and we’ll provide a detailed questionnaire to gather all the necessary information about your horse or pony.
We have an exceptional system in place to ensure everything runs seamlessly during the whole process.

Sales Policy:

- No first options: Sales are on a first-come, first-served basis unless specifically agreed upon.
- Viewings: By appointment only.
- Weather considerations: No tryouts or riding during severe weather conditions.
- Vet checks: Buyers are responsible for conducting vet checks and any due diligence before purchase.
- Pricing: Prices may increase over time with schooling and show experience.
- Payment: No payment plans or trials unless specifically agreed upon.
- Contract: Contract to be signed between all parties.

Selling Unseen:

We understand that traveling for viewings may not always be possible. While we prefer in-person sales, we sometimes sell unseen under specific conditions:

- Clients must provide their riding history and videos of their riding ability (flatwork and jumping preferred).
- References from instructors may be requested to ensure suitability. This is to protect both the client and the horse, ensuring a good match.

Schooling and competing: If you’re short on time, we can school and compete your horse for you.
Experienced work rider with 18 years of experience. Specializes in showjumping (up to 1.30m), backing, producing green and young horses, addressing behavioral issues, and more. Past experience includes competing in working hunter, equitation, and eventing. Experience at Capital Stud (2018 and 2023) and freelance work. Based in Kyalami and willing to travel. References available upon request.

I have two nice quality ponies for sale

1) 13.3h, 7-8 year old (dentist report on hand). Has a FEI passport. Very flashy pony, with good movement and scope ! Would not be suited for a beginner rider as he can get forward and strong. With some more consistent work he would be great. Jumping jumps up to 90cm. Although he is forward and strong is good on lead. Would also make a nice project pony. Open to offers - 30k

2) 14.1h, 8 year old. FEI passport and vetting on hand.
Competitive and winning Sanesa pony. Has competed 1.10. Easy ride and very willing. Suited for advanced and amateur riders. POA
