Dear Clients
It’s the end of the year, and while many are slowing down and preparing for holidays, we here at Plankton on Tap is starting to prepare for the new year. We have exciting changes and prospects in the new year and can’t wait to share the news.
As you know our core business is cultures and breeding, which have been growing from strength to strength the past year, even with our focus side tracking to shipments. With the increased demand for our cultures, we will be making some changes. Here is some of the changes, more detailed information later.
• We have appointed an official distributor, we want to get our products into stores close to you.
• We are in the process in culturing different strains of copepods
• Breeding focus chanced to breeding Shrimps
• We will no longer be importing as many shipments as possible but rather focus on selected high quality imports.
• Fish and Corals will be sourced and quarantined on customer requests. 14 day minimum period
• We have already started expanding into other types of cultures (Daphnia, Infusoria, Vinegar eels, etc)
• Freshly made frozen foods.
This will require space and more control of access to our facility. As far as we know we are the only live culture supplier that don’t mind showing our facility to the public (pictures or in person). We will however ask people to book orders before collecting (if not shipped) to keep our facility as clean as possible.
Some of our visiting clients have already seen some of the changes starting to happen. More info to follow as they happen, in the meantime feel free to order should you require anything. We wish all our clients a covid free merry Christmas and happy new year.
