She is really improving week after week with her treatment and good food❤️🙏. She's a real sweetheart I will continue to give her all she needs

Chaining is cruel and unfair💔💔

I came across a female boerbol in the township. It was evident her life started on a heavy chain and wire, while being trapped in isolation along with fear for a long time.

For some time, her owner overlooked the injuries caused from the chain 💔 The wire was so deeply embedded into her into her neck with severe infection. I immediately removed her and ensured she received emergency veterinary care she so badly needed. Sadly, it was established that she due to the severity of her injuries and her fear it was more merciful to put her to sleep

I am devastated these animals are failed daily by their owners and no psychoeducation surrounding animal care seems to allow me to catch up and prevent this 💔🫩 I’m grateful, in welfare, that when we can’t save them, atleast we can offer a merciful death, without prolonged suffering and distress. For most township animals, that is the only kindness they encounter in their lives.

I have countless dogs and cats that I cannot feed as all the food is depleted. I just cannot look away.

Tragically animal suffering does not pause at all. It’s real, dreadful and heartbreaking.
I immediately removed her and her life will change forever.

Today we take a moment to wish our Tessa, the Furry Godmother, a happy 70th birthday.

A true one of a kind. The epitome of selfless, caring, resilient and brave. No animal gets ignored. No matter what condition- no blind eye is turned.

We celebrate Tess, on her very celebratory day. Knowing full well she spent her day where she’d rather be, on the ground, in the townships- being a voice for the voiceless and restoring hope where there is none.

We love you, honour you and wish you a phenomenal year ahead. May God continue to bless you abundantly✨🌸💕🎂🍰

This dog I fortunately got to yesterday. It’s evident food has been little to none for a long time. Ribs visible beneath his skin and malnourished. I will ensure he is freed from the chain. I will change his life around.

I came across this boy in the township yesterday. It’s evident that he’s lacked all essentials and he was extremely hungry. He is a gentle dog and I will continue to ensure he’s never deprived again and add him to the many to prevent starvation as the challenges are all endless.

A sorry start to life

It’s evident that there are active fleas, ticks, worms and manage. I treated them with all that was needed with proper puppy food to make a difference for them to cope in the environment they live in as so many are neglected in every way.

We are in dire need of cat food. Tessa has reported an urgent shortage for the township cats💔🐱🐈
