Just in one road there were 7 dogs just like him. These animals are deprived of the very basics; dealing with parasites is adding to their misery. Every form of support needed makes the real difference.

Repeatedly rejected because of his skin condition which has perpetuated a cycle of fear of humans. He is always looking for a safe place to hide away, but I’m sure there’s a sweet and loving nature under all the fear. Perhaps there is a very special person out there who could give him a life filled with security, love, and confidence.

ANIMAL WELFARE 🐾

Meet this brave little girl from the township, who’s had a rough start to life…

Fortunately, I came across her…

I found her in a poor state of health and discomfort. She had been suffering for a long time with mange, and an eye and ear infection. She was a very sad dog.

Over the passing weeks, I managed her treatments for her recovery. She has truly blossomed. I was blessed with a kennel meant for her. This happy little girl will remain on my feeding program.

A dog chained like this cannot function or develop normally, tethering dogs can have serious negative effects on their mental health. When dogs are constantly chained or tied up, they often experience frustration, isolation, and lack of stimulation, which can lead to neurotic behaviors, anxiety, and unhappiness. Over time, this can also increase aggression because the dog feels trapped and unable to escape stressful situations. There are many harmful physical and psychological effects associated with tethering dogs on chains.

Before taking any action, I first educated the owner about these negative impacts. To address her concerns about the dog escaping through gaps in the fence, we attached and securely fastened sturdy metal mesh to close those gaps, allowing the dog to move freely and safely around the yard.

No shelter. No warmth. No comfort.

She has little or nothing, a little soul carrying the weight of neglect. Her skin is in need of care, and she was terribly hungry when I found her.

“Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.”

I’m committed to making a difference in her life by treating her skin condition and giving her the food she desperately needs. Soon, I will arrange a kennel where she can find safety and rest.

ANIMAL OUTREACH CHANGES LIVES FOREVER

I came across him… a soul who had known nothing but misfortune, deprived of everything all his life. When I found him, he was frail and near death.

Now, for the first time, he is surrounded by compassion and treated with dignity. He is certainly not a young dog, but his days are now filled with care, warmth, and love.

This is the difference compassion makes.

I was called today to help a girl who found herself living a life no dog should ever have to endure. She survived a life of hardship and deprivation, but despite it all, her spirit remains gentle, her heart full of love she was never properly shown.

Being the first to respond, I met her exactly where she was — unsure, tired, yet quietly hopeful. She didn’t choose this life, but she accepted my help with soft eyes and a trust that spoke louder than words.

She’s currently at Beacon Bay Veterinary Clinic, receiving the first stage of her much-needed treatment.

Now, she has a chance to start again. She will know warmth. She will know kindness. And she will heal — because healing begins the moment someone believes it’s possible.

(And for those who doubt her… You’ll see her shine soon enough. She’s stronger than you think. So am I.)
