It is with the heaviest heart that I have to tell you that my darling little SweetyPie has passed over the rainbow bridge to live in doggy heaven.
She suffered a complication from her hysterectomy and hemorrhaged. Unfortunately, doctors were not able to save her.
She has left the biggest hole in my heart.

SweetyPie in the jersey I whipped up for her quickly last night. She gets so cold at night. And she has developed a bit of a cough. Doctor thinks it's just from the intubation tube when they operated on her. Nothing to worry about.

Meet SweetyPie. A wonderful dog who has been let down by humanity.
I was driving out of Isipingo on Monday when I drove past a dog on the side of the road. She was skin and bones and I couldn't leave her there literally dying of starvation. I stopped, put my hand out the window and called her. She immediately came to me. So trusting after everything she has been through.
I took her to the vet for a checkup and now she is at my house discovering what it feels like to be loved.
She is the kindest, sweetest and most gentle girl.
She has a broken Achilles tendon in her back leg that so walks around on three legs and she cannot stand on that leg.
