This one was a bit more difficult to assemble than similar products I have previously purchased but is strong and durable for my Great Dane once assembled ( and bonus with these beds is that the dogs do not chew them up like other dog beds :) I add a blanket or thin mattress in winter for extra warmth and in summer they enjoy sleeping on the bed without extra bedding as it is cooler but more comfortable than the floor.
