Visited and took food to Sussie and Rotti, also met a new tenant with his doggie Sokkies, her dad is sadly bedridden. Luckily she is sterilized and in great condition, just needs a nail trim once she trusts me enough 🐶

Teddy and Zues went for their check up, vaccination, rabies, deworming and microchipping. They were such good babies in the car. Zues is partially deaf and has an overbite but otherwise healthy 🤗

Today I am angry (another word comes to mind) 🤬

At only 6 months old, just 24 weeks on this earth, these sweet brothers have been sold, given away and now find themselves in rescue 😭

I spoke to the 'breeder', there's no return policy, no contract, no accountability, basically not their problem (oh and it's not about the money, they find or rather sell them, to good homes and then wash their hands of any guilt as to what happens to them after 🙄).

They are currently with the amazing family that just about grabbed them from "free to a good home" before they ended up in wrong hands but they can't keep them and reached out to us. Thank you for saving them from an unknown, possibly dark, future 🤗

Sadly their vaccinations were not kept up to date and the whole process needs to start over again, they will be vet checked, groomed and if all is well, up for adoption. We do however suspect that little Zeus (white) might be deaf 😢

I didn't remain calm and courteous, the breeder knows exactly how I feel....

For five of these lovelies, it was the last Christmas spoil they would ever have, and we just never know if it could be the last so we love making it fabulous, hearty and memorable... Thank you Critter Rescue SA for this initiative as they so enjoy these meals 🤗

We are on 68 buckets. We need to reach at least 80 buckets by end of July to keep all the beneficiaries. Please help us share.👏🏼👏🏼

We are aiming to feed 5000 animals this year. We need a total of a 120 buckets for this year.

This will be the 7th year that we are doing the Christmas lunches!!

Sara (female... Oopsie, it's a Sir 🤭🤦) and Snowy (male) from Location Road have been booked in for their sterilizations today 😍

Sara was a stray around the area that was picked up as a kitten and will be scanned for a microchip just in case 🙏

Poor Blue (doggie) didn't understand why he had to stay and couldn't come too 😬 He is next on the list for neuter 🐶

Thank you From Tassie with Love for helping these sweet kitties 🤗 We are working hard to reduce the number of animals that can procreate and every single steri is working towards this goal 🙏

Even though we didn't get anything for Mandela Day, no R67's, not a single bag of food, no 67 minutes, no special attention for the animals we help, it's ok...we only wanted our three pups adopted, that's all we cared about, our special Mandela Day wish(still no enquiries yet 😞)...

Thanks to our usual, very appreciated, supporters we had enough to cover our vet bill, buy more outreach food and know we will be ok 😘...
(We can't post pictures of the individual donors but you are also valued beyond measure 🤗)

Being able to continue our work, being supported, is luckily not just for one day, it's every day, every month and that means the world to us and the animals 💕

Hope (now Phoebe) went from hopeless to happy when she was adopted in August 2022, one of our very first rescues!

We can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of joy at the love and home she has 😍

It's been nearly three years and in this time she's also welcomed a sister that she is madly in love with, never far from her tiny human and of course her older four footed sister that showed her the ropes of the good life (there were two but sadly golden oldie got to meet and love her before crossing the rainbow bridge) 💕

An incredible journey from flea infested to feeling loved 😘

Beautiful boy Tyson doubles as a spoilt brat AND therapy pooch 😍

Not only does his family love and shower him with affection but he gives just as much at his 'day job' going to work with mom 💕 Bringing smiles and happiness to everyone that needs that extra snuggle 🥰
