Akato practicing his “Fuß” (heel)!

Did you know we use different commands depending on the dog? Some of our commands are in German, and others are in English. The important thing is that we stay consistent with each dog so they know exactly what we’re asking.

A few German commands we use:
🐾 Fuß — Heel
🐾 Sitz — Sit
🐾 Platz — Down
🐾 Bleib — Stay

Every dog learns a little differently, and what matters most is clear communication and consistency. We want our dogs to understand what we’re asking and be successful in their training. ❤️

Akato is working on his heel position, learning to stay focused and move with us. Training is about more than commands; it’s about building that bond and working together!

Akato enjoying some ball time, but did you know play is about more than just burning off energy?

Rottweilers are intelligent, strong working dogs that need both physical exercise AND mental stimulation to thrive. Keeping them busy helps prevent boredom, builds confidence, and gives them a positive outlet for their energy.

🎾 Fetch and interactive play
🧠 Training sessions and learning new commands
👃 Scent games and letting them use their nose
🐾 Structured walks and exploring new environments
❤️ Spending quality time with their people

Remember, exercise isn’t just about tiring them out. Teaching them how to think, focus, and settle is just as important! Every dog is different, so find the right balance for your Rottie’s age, health, and energy level.

A tired body is great, but a mentally satisfied Rottweiler is even better! 🐶🖤
