SESSION #5: (Part two)

After introducing the tarp, we worked on wearing the saddle pad, then the saddle , then fully cinched, then we added the breast collar 💕

This is really a "training highlight" to post 🥺🎉💓

He was completely unbothered by wearing the saddle. He was asked to move in both directions at a walk, then freely move, but he was most content conserving his energy and just hanging out wearing it 😅

Session # 5:

It's been a few days since last session. Today was introduction to the tarp in the first half of our session. Haltering took only a few minutes

Session #4

Haltering with little effort, leading outside, tie session under the shade tree😁 , some continued handling both sides - pretty leisure compared to yesterday's eventful session but he was relaxed and responsive 💙 He has backing up down pat and after asking him to side pass once yesterday, he is volunteering it today! Yesterday he met and covered a lot of obstacles -both natural and man made objects.

I can't believe this is session #3 for DG SOMBER and his 2nd session was January 15th😳

His second and third Haltering happened today, first the rope halter then we switched to the buckle halter!

Handling both sides with the stick and my hand, light introduction to the brush, rope desensitizing

Haltering took just a few minutes 💕 he was leading in the round pen with only a few circles and within minutes! We ventured OUTSIDE the corral , he managed to find an opening to escape when being asked to stand still (self error) but he was easily caught again and back to leading.

His first tie session, his first experience with the water hose all over and he enjoyed drinking from it too😅

He also got to venture out on the trail today!! First time ever being completely solo and he did so well- a few sticky moments but otherwise calm and quiet 💙

This little fellow really holds a special spot 💓and he proved today to be so good minded
