It's been about a year and a half since we lost Jimmy, and we miss him still. Gus has acclimated well to being the only doggo in the house, but is lonely. We are looking for a friend for him from the shelters nearby, but it is a slow process since we are still healing from illness. Welcome to all our new folks! I like to keep things positive on Jimmy and Gus’s page, try and give folks a smile as they go about their day. So, that makes this post hard to write. Jimmy has been losing his eyesight over the last few months. We noticed he was acting oddly in November, took him to the vet multiple times and kept a close eye on him. He didn’t want to go down stairs and would run into things. Earlier this month, we got him a Muffin’s halo for blind dogs. He’s adapted fairly quickly, but we think he might have a sort of dementia now. He gets turned around very easily, doesn’t listen to us and seems to be confused. We are taking it day by day, but it is hard.

Hug your animals today, and stay safe. Jimmy, Gus and I love you all very much ❤️❤️❤️
