As you get to the start of the greenaway entrance there is a new water bottle fill station, a drinking fountain and wait for it...... a dog drinking fountain.
It doesn't seem connected yet but work in progress.
Yes it would be ideal at the dog park but there is no drinking water pipes near the canal so thank for doing the next best thing. It's the first time seeing one of these in Ireland.

We have reported to the council today that dogs that are crafty can get under the fence in one particular area of the small dog section. It's only a small section and a dog would really want to try to get out but it is there none the less and needs to be recrified.
Plenty of fun still had today with friends Ollie, Teddy, Malton and I think maybe JJ? ( sorry if name is wrong but you won the Christmas jumper competition 🙂).
Great to see great use. Dog p**p bag dispenser was full of bags, the bin was empty and the park was clean. Thanks everybody for being responsible.

As part of our campaign to encourage dog owners to take responsibility for their pets we have installed Mutt Mitt Dispensers at the entrance to our new Dog Park in Mullingar. Dog owners can avail of free bags to dispose of their dog waste. We would encourage owners to pick up after their pet and dispose of the waste in the bins provided.

FIRST IN THE MIDLANDS

Hi, the dog park is open but not officially. Plus still missing latches on gates but as I say, it's not officially open.
Really really well done .
This is going to be a great asset to Mullingar, for its residents and as another selling point.
