The shelter will be open for owners to reclaim their impounded pets on Monday July 7th at 8:30am.

❓️🐾❓️ Are you currently missing a pet in Vermilion County Illinois?
🐾 Please be sure to go to Vermilion County Animal Control at 14775 Tilton Rd and place a written missing report.

📌Ask to see the stray side it is locked to the public and separate from the adoption side. Check daily. M-F 8:30-4:30.
📌They offer a bulletin board to put a picture or flyer of your missing pet.
📌After a pet has been there 7 days in their custody and no owner claims they become property of VCDAR.

📌 Email your missing pets information to [email protected]

*Reports need to be placed every 30 days if your pet is still missing after 30 days.

📌 Fees for reclaim at Vermilion County Animal Control:
(this does not include residents fees due to their local town hall... each town is different)

On June 17th at 9:30am the carrier door failed as I was taking my cat into see Ace Veterinary Clinic in Covington, Indiana.
I have put flyers out in the area and I go looking daily. She is about 6-8 months.
She was scheduled for a spay so she is not fixed yet.

This morning he was trotting down the road close to home and Taco is now in his house with his family.😍

Message from family...
Draco managed to escape Thursday night and has not been back or sighted since. He broke through the side of my AC unit in my living room somehow, a spot he’s never even investigated the entire time I’ve owned him, & got out late around 12-12:30am Thursday night (early Friday morning)

I’ve been looking non stop. He went missing from the area of 2130 North Road and 2100 North road off of Henning Road in Danville. He’s white and grey, has some grey on his stomach/sides and on the top of his head down towards his eyes.

🔺He has FIV and takes daily medication and supplements for this which is why I need him home. This is NOT transmittable to humans or other animals besides cats & can be transferred through fighting or bites in contact with saliva🔺

He does not have a collar on at this time but he is microchipped and it has all my information on it and his. He is generally friendly it just depends on the situation he’s in, I have no reason to believe he’d attack unless provoked. He may come when called or offered food especially anything fish, chicken, or seafood related.

He may be found hiding out in a tree if he’s made his way up there and gotten stuck, as he’s previously been found stuck in one on his previous escape.
