Warning graphic rash!
Poor linky man is in the wars again.
I don't know how, what or when, but sometime over the weekend when Mike and links were out on their walks.
He has come in contact with something toxic.
The results are concerning, combined with the warm, damp weather, his incessant scratching and licking.
Despite giving him a full body wash, applying tallow lavender balm.
Cleaning his paws, brushing his teeth and mouth.
Things just got worse and worse.
Urgent vet visit first thing Monday morning.
I do not like administering steroids or antibioctics lightly.
But in this case I have, as the rash areas were beconing raw and infected.
I tried putting on the cone of shame and he went into a frenzy, literally pawing it off.
Never seen him this bad ever.
I asked Mike if he went near any wandering dew or rolled in anything, but Mike's response was a blank, "I do not know".
I had a solid day of washing linen, dog blankets and carpet cleaning, joy oh joy.
