Happy 19th Birthday Squeeker! 🎉🎉🎉💖
You are the kindest, loving, loyal, funny, and caring Kitty! Welcoming every fur baby joining us, sitting with the sick, and wiping tears from the humans. Squeeker was 3 when he came to live with us. He was surrendered to the SPCA and his previous family left info about his likes and dislikes, he had known love. If Squeekers family is following us, know he has had a good life, you did the right thing, and we know it must have broken your heart. We send you ❤️ .

The first 3 pics were taken today, then last winter, and the last pic is Squeekers’s ad for Hudson Wren Portraits. They are amazing and took photos that I will cherish forever. They even made Meowmy look fantastic.

6 years ago, but seems like a lifetime. So much has happened. It was an amazing trip and Meowmy met so many wonderful TK supporters. ❤️

Meowmy is off on an adventure and has left our fate with one of her non fur babies......don’t worry she likes all of us. Can you guess where Meowmy is going?

The magic of Tinykittens strikes again!

In 2017 a group of Tiny Kitten followers attended a talk by Hanna Shaw aka the Kitten Lady. We all wore TK tshirts so we could identify followers. It was held at a yoga studio in East Van, and sponsored by meowbox and it was a sea of TK Tshirts! It was here I met Janice Belgrave and her husband visiting from New Zealand. They had travelled by transit over 2 hours to attend the talk and meet other TK followers! When Meowmy heard where they were staying she offered them a ride home, and an amazing friendship was born. Now we have come together along with Girl and cat to support Tinykittens and celebrate 10 years of rescue! Can you guess what we are doing?

We have been gifted this beautiful painting of Misha from the amazing artist Kathryn Jane and her cat Po. She captured Misha perfectly and a photo does not do it justice. Misha looks like she is going to step off the canvas and demand chicken!

Tiny Kittens as brought so many amazing people into our lives, and friends that became family. Kathy and Po loved or Misha and Misha loved them. ❤️

Happy gotcha day Tommy! 9 years ago I received a call saying there was a cat wandering around that looked sick, was limping, and crying. Tommy was so hungry he went right into the trap to eat. He was so hungry! Once he had eaten we realized he was a little Spicy! After getting him fixed p and neutered the plan was to find him a home. Little did we know that home would be with us. Tommy is special, and he has come a long way from the streets, but in the beginning he was reactive and in a second could turn into a feral fighting cat. We decided we would work with him and let him decide how he wanted life to be. So we started with wand toys, and treats and hoped that he would stop attacking and biting. He learned that there would always be food, and that water was always safe. He would smell the water bowls and use is paw like a filter. He was inside and not happy about that. He scratched at the door jam, rushed the door when he heard it being unlocked, and if a window was open he would try to open it enough to get out. Three months in Tommy ran and smashed through the screen on a window. It was barely open and when he landed outside he stopped, looked back and then took off. He was gone by the time i gout out of the front door and to the yard. I was heart broken, Tommy loved the outdoors, but it wasn’t safe. There was no sign of Tommy, but 2 nights later he was back, demanding to be let inside and wanting his dinner! He was Calvin’s BFF and im sure they bonded over their outdoor stories. He has stepped up to help Gabby with her grief, plays with Monkey and Charlie, and sits in the window with Cordie and Squeeker. Nine years later he is an indoor cat, and spends his nights sleeping with Meowmy and the rest if the clowder. LOVE does change everything.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈

One year ago we were asked if we could help a family who was going through a difficult time and had a 4 yr old cat that needed a soft place to land. We were still reeling from the sudden loss of Calvin, and well aware of Squeeker’s needs as he ages, but when someone asks for help we say yes. It takes a lot for someone to ask for help and we are so glad they did. We have changed his name for our page so his family isnt judged. Please meet Charlie! He is so loved by his family and all of us. He is from an only cat house and he has taken to our clowder like he has always been here. Meowmy says the last thing she expected Charlie to be was a ginger. Imagine her surprise when he arrived. We believe he was heaven sent by Calvin to help us, but mainly Gabby’s heart heal. He has become Monkey’s best friend, Squeeker’s nap buddy, Tommy’s playmate, and Cordie’s tub buddy. Misha also let him sit with her and would share her chicken. We are honoured to love and care for Charlie for as long as he is with us. ❤️

Many of us were saddened to learn of the passing Calvin. His rescue and subsequent adoption was one of those stories that purrrfectly matched the spirit of TinyKitten’s mission.

To honour him, his amazing Meowmy, and TK we invite you to donate towards the cost of a bag of crunchies for the Happy Forest ferals.
