Courtney's Pet and Equine Services, LLC Serving mainly Warrenton,VA and close surrounding areas from my home base Pet Care I am capable dispensing animal injections and oral medications.

Raised around horses and dogs all my life in the Fairfax County area is what inspired me to work with animals. I own a 9 year old Goldendoodle, 1 year old GSD, a 19 year old Iberian Warmblood horse and a 9 year old Holsteiner mare, with whom I currently compete on the rated hunter circuit in the USEF/USHJA Zone 3 area. Over the past 18+ years, I have gained experience working with all kinds of ani

mals ranging from fish, hamsters, cats and dogs to large animals like horses, donkeys and alpacas. Additionally, I also have five years working at a vet clinic as a kennel worker, helping the vet techs when needed, walking dogs, boarding, bathing and nail trimming. In 2013, I received my All Breed Pet Grooming Certification through Virginia School of Pet Grooming. Working with a large variety of animals has provided me with a broad-based experience and skill sets in the care of animals. I take great pride and love in my work helping you and your pets. They are treated and given the care as if they were my own. Helping and providing you with the needed services brings me great happiness.

Attention to my dog walk clients! Days where it’s very hot, I will be making adjustments to their walks. Either time will need to be reduced or I will find grassy and shady areas to walk. Thank you for understanding, this is my best way to protect your dogs health in these hot temperatures

🐾 We basically love dogs more than most people. (Sorry, not sorry.)
So please, as this heat wave rolls in — don’t walk your pups on hot pavement.

Here’s the truth:
☀️ On a 90° day, asphalt can reach 150°+
🔥 At just 125°F, your dog’s paw pads can burn in 60 seconds
💔 Dogs don’t sweat like we do — they cool down through their paws and panting. Hot pavement? It’s like frying their feet and blocking their AC at the same time.

Quick test:
Put your bare hand on the pavement for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.

Please walk early in the morning or after sunset. Stick to grass or shady trails.

We always want to see your pups and their sweet faces at the shop — especially for their well-deserved pup cup — but never if the trek could hurt their paws. Let’s keep them safe, happy, and tail-waggin’. 🐶❤️
