When I was a pup, my momma used to say, "Come see momma" when we went to bed. I really didn't know what she meant, but when she yanked my collar until my head was on her belly, I learned that come see momma meant some special cuddles before bed.
I can tell that momma knows that if I come see momma liked I used to, it would hurt these old bones. Now, she finds ways to cuddle me without me having to move so much. But tonight I felt pretty good, and when she said, come see momma, I landed on her belly again. We both know how special that was. I am a lucky dog.
