Diego made it safely through Hurricane Beryl! But our house is still without power and not scheduled to get it back till Friday. So he's getting boarded for the next week! He settled in immediately, going straight to his food and chowing down. He's got lots of new birdie friends to keep him company, and I know he's going to have a great time. 🎉

Diego made it through a very cold February and is now enjoying the summertime, with plenty of outside scream time and back porch showers.

We've got power back for now. Diego made it through the night seemingly unbothered. He's having some blueberries with his breakfast this morning. 💙

We are without power, but Diego's room is nice and insulated, and we've got several blankets (including some cold-weather sleeping bags and underquilts) covering his cage.
In fact, the rest of us might end up sleeping in his room tonight if the power doesn't come back on. 😅
