Happy Tail on Keanu, now named Rooster and living his best life with his forever family. His mom sent this great update:

"We officially agreed on the name Rooster last night after tossing many ideas around. When my teenaged son said that one, not one of us didn't like it. And that was a first! He has been such a joy with a healthy appetite and no problem finding his litter box. We let him roam this morning and he got the zoomies, much to the entertainment of our dog. Sienna [resident cat] begrudgingly found that spectactle worth watching as well."

"Sienna still doesn't like him, but she tolerated him getting on one of her window perches. So that was kind of amazing. I attached some pictures, including one of Charlotte [dog] and Sienna watching Rooster . And he loves the house that we made for him, he likes to shimmy into it real quick when Charlotte is too excited for his taste. "

Meet Enid. Beautiful girl who has cerebral hypoplasia, a developmental condition which causes poor coordination, balance and movement. These kities are sometimes referred to as having "wobbly cat syndrome". While there is specific treatment, these kitties can live normal lives with some adaptations such as non-slip flooring and low-sided litter trays. She is available for adoption through Concord Parkway Animal Hospital (704-786-1135). Their heart went out to Enid the moment they noticed she was special. She is very sweet but can be timid at times. She is currently estimated to be 13 weeks old and is getting her routine vaccines as she grows. Their plan is to spay her and find her an indoor-only home.

Please contact Concord Parkway Anmal Hospital for more information about Enid. Their # is 704-786-1135.
