What an awesome day hanging with some old friends and meeting some new ones at Canine Connection, LLC Barkiversary Party!

Meeting all the dogs, alive and a few crossed over❤️🐾 sharing their messages of love and how they are helping US to grow, is amazing.

This community event celebrates the human–animal bond while raising funds for the Pet Peace of Mind® program, which ensures hospice patients’ pets receive the care they need.

✨ Special Feature: Meet Mason, the Portsmouth Police Department’s first Comfort Dog, and his handler Detective Rochelle Jones! They’ll demonstrate Scent Work—where dogs use their powerful noses to find hidden scents—and Mason will also show off some of his AKC Trick Dog Novice skills.

🐾 Guests and their dogs can also enjoy sensory enrichment, animal communication sessions, splash pools, pup cups, raffles, DIY arts & crafts, and more. Local vendors will offer handmade pet gear, art, and wellness products, while Chef Ken Payette and Joey’s Dog House serve up delicious eats for people, and Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour brings themed mocktails for pups and their humans.

All proceeds and donations support the Pet Peace of Mind® program, helping pets stay safe and cared for during their guardian’s end-of-life journey.
