Hey friends!

As you may know, Nick & Reggie are both staying at Neighborhood Veterinary Centers - Nederland while getting quality care, laser therapy and most importantly, physical therapy. Nick is a big boy so he requires a team of people to care for him while he learns to walk again. Both boys are doing well and slowly making improvements!

The clinic is going through quite a bit of pads for the boys so we’d like to send some and help replenish their stockpile. We created an Amazon wishlist with pads & blankets since they’re washing blankets daily. If you’d like to send some their way, we’d be so appreciative! That’s their only need currently!

This poor baby was found yesterday in a ditch on the side of the road. He must’ve just been hit by a car because he couldn’t walk and was just baking in the sun. We’ve got him at the ER and he’s been resting comfortably but has a femur fracture and really bad ulcers in his eyes that could potentially result in enucleation (eye removal).

We named him Fester. More updates to come!

Here are the details:
🗓️ August Appointments: Four surgery days available for both dogs and cats. This is for NEW appointments only. Previously scheduled appointments can not be changed.
📅 Appointments Open: July 15th
💰 Payment: Please have $20 ready to secure your appointment. This non-refundable, non-transferable scheduling fee will be required at the time of booking.
⚠️ Additional Services: No funds will be due on the day of surgery unless you choose to add extra services not included in the ad above.
Important Reminders:
✔️ Marion County Residency: Participants must be Marion County residents.

‼️ Layla escaped her fosters this morning.

She’s loose in the Katy area near Morton and 99. She’s feral and terrified of people, she had to be tranquilized by animal control to be captured the first time. Please do NOT attempt to catch her yourself and do NOT chase her. Report sightings to us so we can get her safely tranquilized again and back home.

UPDATES —

3/18 pm: Layla is now in Richmond TX. Last sighting is 90 and Cunningham Creek Blvd. She is 18.5 miles away from her fosters home which she escaped from Saturday morning. She is exhausted and now she is injured so we’re hoping she doesn’t go much further. We need eyes on her again. If you can help look, please do. If you can put up flyers so we can reach more people, please message us.

3/18 am: A possible sighting came on Monday morning said to have spotted her on the other side of I-10 on Westgreen in the Memorial Parkway area around 10:45am Saturday morning. She could be anywhere at this point, as she would have already traveled 5-6 miles from her fosters house to get there.

3/16: First sighting: “Running down south Mason road and provincial blvd. She was running extremely fast. She was running around the area where academy sports and outdoors distribution center. It was around 10:30 this morning (3/16). She was headed towards some apartments.”
