This was a 17 day job. I appreciated these clients tremendously for providing a huge amount of cat enrichment, and excellent communication. They helped set this up for success. I knew where to find things, what they wanted me to do with auto feeders and auto waterers. They also booked months in advance. ❤️

Time out
I had to put this kitty in his room for a short time out. The clients have nearly every cat enrichment that you can think of. Durin kept chasing his sister. I had to look online for solutions, and the recommendation was a 10-30 minute time out to reset their nervous system. Fortunately, these were one hour visits.
I restructured my routine for these visits. Hunt (play), eat, groom, sleep is a cats instinctive routine. I saw a change in Durin's play aggression. He started grooming himself after eating instead of getting overstimulated.
A 10-15 minute playtime prior to eating is recommended. If you want more playtime/ enrichment for your kitties each additional 10 minutes is only $5.00 more. -Minimum visit time 30 minutes-

Finished 25 days working in a row this morning. Took my husband's cat ( the cat that owns my husband) to Thurman Veterinary afterwards.
It's an unpleasant task to take cats to the vet, but once a year the royalty in your home needs an exam.
Ginger wasn't happy but tolerated the drive to the vet, the waiting room with several drooling dogs, a strange lady touching her, and the ride home. Tonight she will snuggle up with my husband and wonder how she can get rid of me. 😂🤣😅
She's 10 years old, and the vet said that she looks fantastic 🐈

I have never put a cat in his room for a 15 minute time out before, but it worked. These kitties are so much like human toddlers. I wasn't sure how to get him to stop bullying his sister, and the client's have every enrichment item that a cat could ever need. I tried everything, but found myself on the internet looking for a solution.
It worked, he was able to calm down and stop his behavior. He is play aggressive with his sister and not wanting to share my attention.
