Huge Congratulations to Louise and Faberge at The Nationals.....a great accomplishment and part of their 'experience journey' together....exciting times ahead!

BD Summer Nationals 🦄

Mr Fabs has been such a super boy up north at a very chilly Somerford Park. We have had a busy morning competing in both the Novice Gold class and the Elementary Silver class, in both classes he scored over 68%. The Novice gold class was especially hot and he did me proud ending up in the middle of the class in some serious company. In the Elementary we finished just outside the top 10, both classes were huge! I’m so very happy with his performance, he never lets me down and is always so reliable, not needing arena walks in such a spooky environment, he just takes everything in his stride. I now have a very tired fabby kins 💗

A super outing for Louise and Faberge following The Nationals...now moving up to Medium!

Great day out with Fabs today at Bury Farm 🤩

He was a super boy getting 71%+ in E53 and despite feeling a bit tired in M73 he kept trying to score 69%+, winning both classes overall 🥇 He is still very green at Medium at 6 years old, but lots of promising comments and marks 😍

⭐️Off to The Nationals at Advanced Medium!⭐️...
Fortunas - Farewell III - Welton (Weltmeyer)- Inschallah X
Interesting too....his sire 'Farewell III' also sired 'Famoso', the highest placed horse on the German Team at the FEI Dressage World Championships Aug 2022.......
Farewell III, I rated very highly yet I thought was very underused.....a pity!

Absolutely Delighted to have had a all from BD yesterday offering us a place in the advanced medium at the Nationals with lovely Fortunas 🤩 such a lovely boy with the biggest heart ❤️ owned by Caroline White and Brilliantly produced by Joy Dawes ( I’ve been threatening to steal him for a while 😆) ☺️

Summer Regional update

On Thursday we had a long trip down to Sparsholt Summer Regionals with Fabs ready to compete on Friday. This was our first attempt at Novice Gold and we held our own in a very competitive class scoring 71%. Sadly not a qualifying score this time, but I’m really happy with him in the heat as he tried his heart out for me 💗

Fingers crossed for a wildcard 🤞

Now to battle the heat over the next couple of days with some early morning starts and then it’s full steam ahead for Keysoe regionals 🧡☀️

Wow! ...A stunner.....a dream on paper...and a filly to top it all!!!!!

EXCELLE- one of our homebreds.....very proud...

It’s been busy again the last 36 hours with the remaining two mares foaling within 36 hours of each other. This beautiful filly arrived at a civilised hour around 11pm Thursday evening.

She’s by Leprince Des Bois out of Excelle (Contendro/Haarlem/Voltaire) She’s a very calm, bright and inquisitive little girl and I can’t stop staring at her 😍

Thrilled for Louise and Faberge....thoroughly enjoying their sport together....Huge Congratulations Louise!.....and off to the Regionals too...

We have had an exciting couple of days.

On Thursday RB Equestrian Ltd came out and we did some filming, so keep your eyes peeled for the videos coming soon! 👀

Then yesterday we took Fabs to Onley to get his last couple of Novice Gold Regional points. He has never been there before and was such a super boy! Their spooky indoor and loud crashing bin collecting was no match for Fabs and we scored a great 73.9% taking the win 🥇 by almost 7% 😍 🦄
