Misty had never been to the Bag of Bones Barkery before Sunday. She visited looking for a new harness and found exactly what she was looking for. Doesn’t it look great on her? 😊❤️ And she not only got a new harness, she also got some really good treats too!

Thank you to Laura and team for your help and for welcoming Misty to the Barkery family! ❤️🐾

As 2025 comes to a close, my heart is filled with gratitude as I reflect on what we’ve accomplished together this past year.

Across the country, shelters and rescues are under extraordinary strain. They are overcrowded, fostering is down, adoptions are down, resources are stretched to their limits, already-thin budgets are stretched even thinner, and staff and volunteers are struggling to keep up.

Yet, YOU’RE DOING IT! Across the country, countless pets have been saved thanks to your hard work, dedication, and commitment.

In addition— because of you— we are all still here….. continuing our lifesaving mission!

Your support has made it possible for Code3 Animal Rescue Aviation Team and our sister organization, The Code3 Foundation to continue to evolve and to grow to help overcrowding and crisis situations and to help pets find loving homes.

In 2025, we have expanded our philanthropic efforts to help animals in need get the medical care and services they desperately need.

Our new community grant program was launched, which has helped a number of animals get emergency medical care.

In 2025, we have made an incredible difference together, even in a very difficult year. We simply could not have made it without you.

In 2026, our plans for growth continue:

1. We plan to continue to offer the same transport services and transport coordination services we always have to help reduce the burden to shelter and rescue personnel and get animals at risk of euthanasia to a safe place or to their new forever homes. This is our core mission and will continue as it always has.

2. Thanks to a very generous donor, Code3 has acquired a new transport vehicle that we expect to have road-ready in Spring or early Summer of 2026. Thanks to multiple other partners and supporters, the vehicle is in the process of getting safety enhancements and custom upgrades to make it safe for the animals being transported and for the volunteers.

3. We plan to expand our Community Grant program to help more rescues, shelters, and families in need offset the financial burden of unexpected emergency care.

4. We plan to grow our base of partners and sponsors that support our mission to help us achieve our goals.

Thank you for standing with us, supporting us, and for your continued commitment to a better life for animals in need.

From the Code3 family to yours, we wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year and all the best in 2026. 💙🐾

We are so excited to have our transport truck back Home for the Holidays! 🛻🐾

It’s been in the shop since October completing our Phase 1 - Safety Updates.

Phase 1 - Safety Updates:
To date, the truck has had a complete inspection and mechanical overhaul. It now has a plethora of safety updates, such as: new brake hardware all around, new brake lines, 6 new tires, upper & lower ball joints, light switches and bulb replacements, air injection pump work, engine tune-up, coolant flush, oil change, transmission inspection, and more. Thank you to our partner George's Garage & Towing in Cranbury NJ for getting us to this point.

The grand total for Phase 1 was $7,057.83 and made possible by YOUR donations and our partnership donations and grants.

Additional phases to come in 2026 include:

Phase 2 - Animal Comfort & Safety: will include replacement of the animal holding area AC/Heat and generator, revamped crate security, and racking security to hold crates securely in place. We will also add a new mounted GPS with easy touch screen features to provide volunteers with everything they need to navigate to their destination easily and safely.

Phase 3 - Branding / Wrapping: will include the sparkly updates that will include new rims, branded logo wrapping, and other add-ons. We also plan to include opportunities for partners and sponsors to place their logos on the truck. Watch for details in 2026.

THANK YOU to all of our supporters and partners for helping us get to this point. We are so excited to keep moving forward in 2026 to get on the road and help save more furry lives! ❤️🐾

THANK YOU again to Lorraine and Husky House for generously donating this truck to Code3.

“The Longest Night”

Sunday December 21, candles will be lit around the world and vigils will be held to remember and honor our beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge during what is called ‘The Longest Night.’

December 21 is the day of the year with the least amount of sunlight in the Northern Hemisphere and the most amount of darkness. Hence, the “longest night” of the year. It’s also known as the winter solstice.

Legend says that it is on this night that Santa Paws visits our pets at the Rainbow Bridge to bring them the gift of our love before he sets out on his Christmas Eve trip around the world. He chose this night because it gave him the most amount of time to spend with our beloved pets.

Whether you have lost a beloved pet recently, or wish to honor a pet, or pets, from many years ago, celebrate their life and their love by lighting a candle in their memory. LED candles are perfect for this.

Together, our candles will shine up to the Rainbow Bridge and remind our lost pets that we still remember them and still love them. ❤️🐾🌈
