#HappyTailsTuesday #SuccessStories
Yesterday was Ty's Gotcha Day! Two years ago Ty hit the doggie jackpot and got adopted! Thanks for choosing adoption!

Porter does not understand why no one has applied to adopt him. He is such a good boy who just wants to be loved. He does have a congenital optic nerve abnormality, so his sight is limited, but he gets around just fine once he maps his surroundings.
Apply for Porter on our website

Porter is still available for adoption https://hhdane.com/danes/porter.htm
He is one heck of a good boy!! Although at times he tries to outsmart the volunteers! Occasionally, he pretends not to hear you, as all pups do from time to time! He will be a great addition for someone looking for a young Dane!!
Our next two ornaments come from the fabulous and famous Keeley and Kaylor! Thank you for decorating our tree! It took Both of them are HHGDR Alumni https://hhdane.com/success/keeley.htm hhdane.com/success/kaylor_.htm

Well it is almost that time of the year where we give the volunteers a break to spend time with their families. Never fear, the dogs are still well taken care of! Starting Sunday 12/17/23 and going through 1/7/2024, we will not be doing any adoptions. Applications will be processed and emails answered, but it will be at a much slower pace. Our 1st adoption appointment will be January 7, 2024. Pictured are the 4 fantastic Danes that we will have for adoption: Malcom, Odette, Meadow, and Porter. You can learn all about them by visting our website https://hhdane.com/danes/1danelist.htm
We still will be decorating the HHGDR Christmas tree, so get those pictures submitted :)

Our next 10 ornaments come The Sedlock Family. Thank you for gracing our tree every year 💓
Not Ready For Adoption
Porter was found in Adam's County by the Dog Warden. Like so many other dogs, no one claimed him, so he was likely dumped. Adams County reached out for us to take him, and thankfully we could! Porter has
Congenital Optic Nerve Abnormality; the vet believes it is hereditary since he is so young. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done. Porter will be available in 2024.

Asher continues to wait for his new home. He has had zero interest! This handsome young man is sweet and playful. He is also a smaller Dane, so he promises to not take up too much room
