A huge thank you to Alex from Go Dog Walks for stepping in at short notice to welcome our little boarder, Maisie, and giving her such a lovely home-from-home while we rescheduled our holiday. She looks so relaxed and content — I hope this brings some reassurance to Maisie’s family during what was an unexpected change of plans.

The dog walking community really does step up when it counts, and Alex has been absolutely incredible.

On Friday, Jim (Jeeves) was laid to rest. The service was deeply emotional, and the turnout truly phenomenal — a powerful reflection of just how loved he was. One of the most moving moments was seeing dog walkers and their dogs standing quietly on the grass verge of Linn Park — a place Jim loved so much — to honour him on his final journey.

It’s been a tough and emotional week, as I also said goodbye to my own dear mum. Through it all, I’ve been held by the kindness and support of this incredible community — my fellow walkers, my clients, and my friends. Your care has meant more than words can say. ❤️

Taking a little time now to pause, reflect, and process this past month. I’ll see you all in a couple of weeks.

A little catch-up end June x We had boarders Alfie and Bonnie come to stay and Summer joined them for walks as well. It was a busy little household.
Photos of my dogs really entertained my mum as did my stories, which became fewer recently.
The first two , my favourite photo of her with any of my dogs when Oz was allowed on her couch. Of all dogs... OZZY!!? 🤎😂 Then her most recent visit from her little love, Elsie x

I'm heartbroken to learn that my Linn Park walking buddy Jim (Jeeves) has so very sadly passed away. What a character. The schedule was ruined when we met up. The last conversation we had, earlier this month, was wonderful - we chatted about everything including music.
He loved the Beatles but he loved all music. We chatted about my main man George Michael after I'd gone to a concert earlier that week at the Barrowlands to see his music and him 'reincarnated' (it seemed!).
The last text between us was just after our fabulous animated walk and talk, I'd sent Jim his favourite GM song. I'm glad to have known him and I'll miss Jim and his stories. Listening to the song I shared with him was, as it turned out, my parting gift and it's so sad now listening to it x
Jim was a true dog lover and a people person as well.. a wonderful life lived. Thinking of his daughter's and his little granddaughters who he just adored with all his heart x
Walking here won't be the same, my friend.

Beautiful evening walks, over the last 3 evenings, with our delightful boarders.
What more can I say. Full-on days and evenings too. No wonder they sleep well at night xx

A beautiful Friday, captured on a Friday and posted on a Friday. Wowee!
Please excuse the marked reduction of posts on social media on a daily basis. Like many mum's/daughters of a certain vintage, the juggle is real but I am ensuring I get my priorities met. Your lovely dogs are always accommodated for and they get out on a timely manner each and every day, not compromising on their fun, keeping them happy and feeling loved! Happy, even if they didn't have a road trip on their bingo card that day 🤣 .
I am so fortunate I am able to share my days with my dear mum, ensuring her basic needs are met and knowing she seems to need me, daily, more often. I'm also there to see my girls each day from school. Whether they like it or not 🤔😃👋
Some days I may not have much time to chat which can be a blessing as I really do look as bedraggled as I feel 🥴🫣🤣
I am very fortunate to be able to have it all, in that regard X however, sometimes the best intentions to update social media can be taken over by more immediate matters x

I don't think I've ever met a wee dog more travelled than Ringo. Back from a roadtrip to Spain, stopping off at all the most beautiful places. Lucky boy and thank you, from everyone, for the Spanish treats!
Ever wondered who the sookiest dog is? Step forward Alfie. He gets such a fuss from almost everyone. And then the treats come out and everyone joins in 🎉

P.s. looking for recommendations for a very good groomer who will be patient and gentle with a slightly nervous girl x

Today. The animals came two by two 😆 and although it was fairly grim, we didn't need an ark!
Because the ground is so wet, the grass seeds tend to stick like magnets to their fur. Elsie had grass seed on her face and in her eyes. I checked everyone else but in case I missed a spec or two, please be vigilant and check their eyes and paws x
