I am posting this here because it is extremely important to me.

I am not usually a social media person but I have to write about this. In Ontario Ford is trying to close pain clinic and take away pain injections. At most they are talking about 4 injections per year; with NO option to pay for more. I know some of you will understand how important pain injections are but for those who do not know that pain injections are only for severe pain and the patient has to show that they have tried other treatments that have failed. Injections are truly the last and only option.

I suffer from neuralgia and before injections I was in constant pain, like someone was ramming an ice pick into my head, the pressure so bad if felt like my head could explode. Due to this pain I was in the ER almost every other day because if I was given anything if would last maybe a day or knock me out. Of the pain was not fully gone just bearable. It was the same when I was on heavy pain killers; only work because they would knock me out. I have been going to the pain clinic for over three years and because of these injections I can have a life. I was in school when I experienced my neuralgia and ended up missing months because the pain was so server I was basically bedridden. Before anyone thinks this is me being weak, not trying or have low pain tolerance I would like to tell you a few things. One I went to school with a cyst which if you have not had one think of kidney stone pain. Two the neuralgia is so bad I get multiple needles stuck in my face. One of the most painful places to get a needle is right above the eyebrows and I get them there. The pain the needles cause is 100% worth it though because it helps the neuralgia and I can function. In short I work through pain if I can but the neuralgia pain is just that bad, that severe, I can barely do anything but lay in bed.

Many of us whom get pain injections can only function with these injections. If they are taken away you are just creating more people whom will be on disability. Who will not have a life worth living. In the extreme you are also pushing people to end their lives.

Please like and share and get a voice out there on how important pain injections are. Do not let Ford take them away or lower them to 4 a year. This is not enough.

Trying to teach Zeea to walk on a treadmill. She is not a fan...

I have watched youtube videos on how to train dogs to walk on treadmills but there dogs get used to it so fast. Zeea will do it but once she figures out she get off the machine it is over.

I suggest only feeding bones that are made for dogs. Chickens have hollow bones so they are easy to brake and splinter; do not give chicken bones to any dogs. With large dogs avoid easily breakable bones like pork or lamb.

Hi everyone, although Zeea is not tearing into her toys anymore I will still be keeping up with my blog and posting useful information. Like today, where I was faced with the task of removing tar from Zeea's paw. I will be positing my experience and solution soon. Thanks for your continued reader-ship.

So I see people looking for their dogs siblings and I think this is a great idea.

Zeea was born May 23, 2013 rescued by Sandy Lake rescue from a Northern reserve. I know her one brother was named Eddie (at least before he was adopted) and Zeea's name was actually Blaze before I changed it. Although Zeea is tan/black her sister was husky coloured (gray and white). Below is her puppy photo.

Hey everyone it had been quite a year and has started off the same. Zeea had a cyst on her tail burst and because she got around her cone and chewed her stitches out she is still in the healing process and we are still going for bandage changes once every 3-5 days.

I am glad though that Zeea seems to be feeling better overall and she curls her tails up and over like she usual did now; before she just had a little crick in her tail.

Hey just a quick reminder to check your dogs for ticks. I live in Southern Ontario and found a tick on Zeea yesterday. Also do forget to keep your dog up to date with their tick preventative.

Hi everyone again! I just wanted to write a short post to educate some people who watch the Blue Buffalo dog food commercials. In their commercials, they present people with two boards with ingredients listed: usually one starts off with corn meal or something considered filler in kibble. The second usually starts off with chicken then lists food that humans would consume (ex. brown rice). So of course people pick the chicken/rice one and—surprise—it is Blue Buffalo. So then they think: what have I been feeding my dog? The trick behind these commercials is the way the company present the ingredients makes the viewer think they have listed the first 5 ingredients of each dog food but the truth is they just listed 5 RANDOM ingredients. Pro Plan, one of the brands Blue Buffalo uses for comparison, actually has chicken as the first ingredient. Blue Buffalo is not a bad food but I just want people to be aware that their commercials are misleading so read the actual kibble bag to find out what’s in your dog’s food.
