IT'S RAINING KITTENS... FOSTER PARENTS NEEDED!
We would love to rescue more, but we can only do so if we have a place for them to stay while waiting for their “purrfect” forever homes. We are in need of loving homes for: Pregnant or nursing momma cats (and their babies) · Kittens · Orphaned kittens which may or may not need to be “bottle-fed” A “pet-free” home is not necessarily a requirement for fostering cats from Rebels Rescue, but we do ask that any resident pets be “cat-friendly”!

In Loving Memory of Rex 🐾

Over the weekend, we said goodbye to a tiny fighter named Rex. He and his brothers attended our adoption event on Saturday, bringing smiles and cuddles to everyone who met them. Rex arrived bright-eyed and active—curious, playful, and showing no signs of being unwell.

But as the event went on, something changed. Subtle at first, then more obvious. Our team noticed immediately and did everything we could: keeping him warm, making sure he had food and water, giving him comfort and love. When the event ended, Rex went home with one of our most experienced rescuers, who did everything possible to turn things around.

Sadly, despite every effort, Rex passed away early Sunday morning. 💔

This is one of the hardest parts of rescue—how quickly kittens can decline, even with attentive care and quick action. It’s devastating, and it never gets easier. But we take comfort knowing Rex spent his final hours surrounded by warmth, care, and love.

Rex mattered. His little life was deeply felt, and his loss is deeply mourned.

Run free, sweet boy. 💙

Rex’s brother, Anthony, is healthy and ready to find his forever homes. His other brother, Morpheus, will be available soon.

When we launched our Tax Day 50/50 Raffle, we hoped for a little help with some big vet bills. What we got instead was an incredible outpouring of love, generosity, and support that reminded us—yet again—why this community is so special. 💛

Taking the cat distribution system to a whole new level!🙀 Last week, this beautiful momma knew exactly what she was doing when she brought her kittens one by one to a dear friend of ours! Momma and babies are now living their best life indoors where they will be safe, loved on, and deeply cared for until they are old enough to part ways and find homes of their own... but not before momma and all babies are spayed/neutered and fully vetted, of course! 💜 Good work momma!🙌
