This is my second round of training with this family. The last picture is their dog Ginger. She was such a character and kept all of us on our toes.

Their new dog, Maya, is almost the exact opposite. She is very chilled and calm.

Maya is said to be a Terrier mix and is now about 2.5 years old. She is very amicable and so cute. I enjoyed my time with her and her humans.

Maya took to The Foundations Course very well and her humans received a refresher course.

I am so proud of all the species and happy Maya helped fill the hole in their hearts after the loss of Ginger.

This is SADIE, and she is a Red Fox Labrador Retriever.
So precious

I met Sadie when she was 4 months and now she is 7 months. There is certainly much to cover when you start with a clean slate and a baby.

She lives with 2 young boys, 6 and 9. You get the picture.

Sadie is scary smart! I said to her humans, "There is no way, at this young age, that she should be learning this well" Sadie really soaks up the training where most pups would lose their focus after 20 minutes.

Kudos to the adults for practicing and taking all my suggestions. They are dream clients and the results prove it.

I adore her and her family. She will have to go on to higher education.

This is Lucy and she also has waited a long time for her graduation pictures. So sorry pretty girl.

Lucy is a 5 year old Boxer/Lab/Pitt mix.
Her Mom wrote me explaining Lucy's various issues all stemming from anxiety and seeking attention.

With arrival of the Lucy's new human sister, the attention seeking got worse.

Lucy is a Covid pup, so there was no foundation training. This was a good place to start.
I had them separate the baby toys from Lucy's toys because Lucy learned quickly that taking Mia's toys got her attention. We implemented a strong "Leave it" to eliminate that behavior.

We also had to strengthen the bond between Lucy and her Dad. She was too attached to her Mom, who worked from home. Once Dad did all the "fun" things with Lucy, things improved.

Lucy finished out The Foundations Course. I left them with ideas to provide enrichment and socialization for her.

She is a sweet girl who lives with a sweet family.
Way to go everyone.

This is 3 year old Silvie and she is a Newfipoo. She is an alumni of Solutions who graduated in the beginning of 2023. Silvie is one of my favorite dogs of all time. She is sweeter than you can imagine and smart beyond words.

Imagine my thrill when her Mom contacted me and asked if I would be interested in giving her a potty break twice a week. "Why, yes I would please"

She is so snuggly, which I really appreciate right now.

This is Willow. I trained another dog in the house and got to know her.
I recently learned of Willow's sudden passing and journey over the Rainbow Bridge. This broke my heart because I know her human loves Willow with all her soul.

"Willow, you go find my Chipper. He is new there also. You guys can learn the ropes together. Run in peace silly girl."

My pal Piper has waited a really, really, long time to see her graduation photos in the spotlight.
So sorry pretty girl.

If you looked up "Boxer" in the dictionary, you might see Piper's picture. Think of the song, "Girls just want to have fun".

When I first met Piper and her Mom, it was clear to me we needed to work on listening skills and ex*****on of requests. In other words, both species needed a foundation makeover.

So we worked and they practiced. Repeat. Piper's Mom is one of the sweetest people I have met. I taught her to "turn down" her frustration with her dog to get a better outcome. Little by little, she got it.

Piper started to improve also with much less jumping, listening to redirection when deliveries come, and calming down when Mommy can't play.

A big belated "Congratulations" to Piper and Kathy.
