The Nathans Kitty Condo Difference
Most of the time when you look at kitty condos in your local pet store, the first thing you notice is the price because it's too high. The next thing you notice is the cheapness of the materials: the wood is bottom of the barrel quality, using chipwood for any of the flat pieces; and the carpet, though clean, is used. The companies who make them try to cut corners to save money and charge you through the nose because they think they're the only game in town.
Happily, now Nathan's Kitty Condos exists to bring you twice the quality at about half the price. We never put used carpet on our kitty condos but use only fresh, new, plush carpet. We also cover every bit of every post and landing so your cats don't have to scratch wood and you don't have to look at it. We also use construction grade lumber only: no chipwood, only thick OSB for quality that will last. Because of our inexpensive sources and low overhead, we are able to bring you great value as well. While a kitty condo that looks similar to our Jonah model will usually sell in a pet store for around $180 and fall apart after a couple of years, we sell it for $120 and it will last for years to come.
