Benson & Lola headed home tonight after more than a week of structured boarding while their family was in Florida. ☀️

Meet Dexter! This rescue guy is getting another chance at a forever home, and we’re helping him build the right foundation.

Dexter came in with no crate/kennel experience, some reactivity toward other dogs, and difficulty settling. During his stay at 4K Dog Stay, we’re introducing the kennel as a safe place, establishing clear household structure, and focusing on decompression and appropriate play.

In just over 24 hours, Dexter started to understand the routine and he’s doing great. With help from our Kennel Boss, Kali, he’s now playing ball outside and learning better social skills.

No obedience, no commands — just learning how to live successfully in a home.

This week also acts as an evaluation so his new family can continue progress with follow-up training at J&S K9.
