We need volunteers to help with our ring toss game next weekend at the Oddmall Inside Out event in Canton (Stark fairgrounds).
Saturday 10am-7pm
Sunday 10am-6pm (booth tear down 5-6pm)
We like if people are able to assist min 4hrs (you may do more if you wish).
Funds raised is applied to our TNR mission.
Please consider joining us.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. It's fun but busy.
Tasks: collect rings and sort, hand winners their prize etc
Sometimes if we have enough help at the table, we have cat costumes to put on and draw attention to the game.

An old apartment building in Akron was condemned by the city as it was unsafe for habitation. The tenants had to vacate the building rather abruptly for safety reasons, which led to three cats being stranded inside the building for several days. A Trapper is born!
Trisha Miller is US Mail Carrier who is a cat lover. For months she has been making Kourtney and us aware of large clowders around Akron which is a huge help when trying to control the cat population!
We already love our Mail Carriers and have received support from them in the past, so it was a no Brainer to ask her if she would like to participate in trapping one of the large projects this past weekend!
On Sunday she not only arrived but brought her Husband John and daughter Madison!!
All 3 became trappers that day and did AMAZING!!!

Ember was transferred out this evening to continue on his new life journey. ❤️
Being completely vetted, free of cancer, and with a clean bill of health he is ready to find a family to spoil him!

Say hello to Leo!
Leo is a senior cuddlebug that was rescued from the condemned apts on the ch.19 news story. At the time of intake he had a poor body scale and we had to be extra careful in how we were feeding him to prevent refeeding syndrome which can be fatal.
He is in desperate need of a dental but needed to be more stable before anesthesia.
We thank everyone who donated towards vetting and everyone who previously sent nutrical because it was put to good use with these guys!!
We did get enough money donations to cover Embers neuter, tumor removal and biopsy cost, vaccinations, and snap test ($445). Clyde was able to get neuter and vaccinations ($130).
Leo was able to get vaccinations and was already neutered ($85) .
That left us still needing funds for Leo to get required bloodwork for dental due to being a senior, and then cost of Dental 😞 (>$600). Now that Leo is stable and we can schedule him, we just so happen to get a message from Ranell at at South Akron Awning Co. ( https://www.southakronawning.com/ ) who had offered to sponsor the cost of his dental needs!
We are truly so blessed to have such an amazing support system in all of you! You are all the true life savers and each role you play rather it be commenting, sharing, volunteering, sending needed items, having friends like and follow our page or donations for vetting every single part helps with our exposure to help community and emergency cases!

Dough Boy was transferred to our partner Alleycats and Aristocats so we were able to help cats in emergency need of help! He is the sweetest baby and hope his family finds him soon. It was an honor to be part of his new journey of life.

Eventhough we are featured as the ones who helped, it was Cleveland 19 News and Reporter Aria Janel that made this happen.
There are no resources for this kind of situation. My heart breaks for the residents. Listening to how they are living in homeless camps, hotels, overnight shelters and their cars in the parking lot of building is awful.
We are helping best we can with making sure cats are safe, warm, fed, and will get the help they need.
One of the kitties has a chest lump/mass that likely will need to be removed. Another has a tooth sideways that likely needs pulled, all 3 need neuter and vaccinations.

Due to urgency of need of help, we of course did not expect this additional cost, but also could not turn our back on this situation.

If you are able to assist it will be so appreciated.

Dough Boy would love to be somebody's baby!
Fully vetted and ready for a home! He is super shiny, playful, loves everyone including other cats and ignores dogs lol. He makes biscuits non-stop!
Found trying to survive in a parking lot where older residents fed him however he clearly was a pet prior to parking lot life.
After so long of no one claiming him the buildings security officer asked for us to help find him a home.
This boy is 💯 gentle and thinks rubs and food are life!

Friends, followers, and cat lovers!
Calling on our Riggi Army 🆘️
Today was trap day training with Mario who did an amazing job.
We did catch 13 with 1 to still catch on site. One looked to be in labor and transferred to our partner A Tail of Two Kitties Rescue due to she was very young and likely will need to be monitored.
One older kitten transferred to our partner Tree City Cats after caregiver asked for help after she found it and feels it may had been a dump on her property.
Eleven (as of now) will be going to the clinic for TNR.
Upon seeing #9, we noticed a limp and ruptured eyeball. The eye socket will need to be cleaned out and eye stitched closed.
If you remember y'all sponsored the TNR packages for these guys last week 😻 however we are looking for a sponsor to cover this poor guy's eye surgery!
I believe it will be around $200 with the meds etc.
If anyone would like to contribute any amount to help this kitty he would really be grateful!
We will do his 2week medical rehab post surgery before returning to site.
