Our Story

Rayvonley Kennels in a fully licensed family-run boarding kennel which is located at Marshland St James. We are here to provide the best service to our old and new customers whether it is for daily care or longer stays. We have had dogs for the past 30 odd years and we are also very successful in the show business, we know that a dog kept in tip top condition, correctly exercised and entertained, is a happy dog. We are very proud of our kennels and viewing is available 7 days per week as we are open 365 days a year. We decided to open as a boarding kennel due to always looking after our own dogs well, but also having the space to look after other peoples dogs too. Each of our indoor kennels are 5 foot x 5 foot inside to give your dog plenty of room, they are fully insulated with individual heating when required, the attached private run is 20 feet long and fully roofed for those British rainy days. Dogs with medical treatment we intend to keep away from the other dogs so they panic and don’t become stressed out whilst they are staying with us. We have a special building for small dogs with 2 outside runs next to the building, the building is fully heated and has a sink, fridge for their medication and a work table for their food (if provided).

Although dogs can see each other in our outside runs they cannot get to each other, we only mix customers own dogs together, all dogs can go out into outside grass exercise areas (if you wish) and are walked up and down the country lanes daily. Our Grass exercise areas are large like individual gardens, with double fencing between them preventing dogs from getting to each other. Each outside paddock has its own roofing so if there is a little shower your dogs won’t be getting soaked.

Feeding in the morning is done between 8:00am-9:00am and the evening feed is done everyday around 4pm-5pm, our own dogs eat mince tripe and mince chicken which we collect from Redditch once a week to fill our freezer up. They also have mixer mixed in with that so the food is all balanced nicely, boarders can bring their own food, bedding and toys for accommodation unless they want us to provide them with our food and bedding which is not a problem. Medication can be done by us as long as we told what tablets to have and how many times per day in a sheet or some form of paper note.
