Adding rugs to your house, especially under food and water bowls and on steps, is essential for senior pet homes. They help pets stay mobile and active, and give them the stability and traction that can decline with age. These are great rugs of all sizes for senior pets, since you can wash them in your own washing machine (and come in a lot of cool patterns and colors like this design).

⏳ Time budget: ⏰🐾🏥🚶‍♀️

Consider if you have enough time to care for your geriatric or ill dog. Medications, assistance with mobility, and regular care may require significant time. Traveling can also be a challenge.

💪 Physical budget: 👩‍⚕️🐕🏋️‍♂️🚗

Evaluate if you can physically handle your dog's needs. Large dogs with mobility issues can be challenging. Keeping your dog and home clean may also be a factor.
