♥️Here’s an awesome rescue pupdate😍. Former Darling Isabella, now known as Gracie, is living her best life! Her family says “When she is not supervising our work-from-home efforts with a level of intensity usually reserved for NASA missions, she is busy charming everyone she meets. Resistance is futile! Gracie attends Daycare, where she's a social butterfly among her canine crew. At home, she's claimed every single blanket as her personal property and has instituted mandatory couch potato sessions. We adore her and she knows it! Thank you for allowing us to be Gracie's furever home!” Happy Tails to you Gracie, you are truly loved.♥️

🩷RESCUE PUPDATE‼️ Misty has been adopted! Her new mom met her at an adoption event but instantly knew she was the perfect dog for her and finalized the adoption this week. Misty is going to be one spoiled girl, going for long runs, trips to the dog park, and lounging on the couch, knowing she is in her forever home. Happy tails, Misty!

🩷LARAMIE 3 1/2 year old 40 lb heart worm negative terrier mix is looking for a new home! She arrived as a stray in late December and has been waiting for someone to choose her. She’s a low energy girl and a nice smaller size that would love to curl up on a couch with you, streaming your favorite show and sharing lots of love. 🐾🐾Laramie had a great time during the Canine Olympics at Coker University, and won the 🏅 award for the “Best Plop.” One of our volunteers said Laramie had to be carried from her kennel to the van, but was completely different once in the community setting. She was fantastic on the leash, she still decided when she wanted to walk and when she didn’t, but it was purely based on what she wanted to do, not fear or shyness, anyone could pet her, and she smiled the whole time. She is certainly an easy, laid-back companion type of girl. She didn’t even walk to the starting point of the zoomies event, she knew she wasn’t going to do it 😆. So if you’re looking for a Couch Potato🥔 Laramie is your girl!

🐾🐾Laramie is a sweet and darling girl and gets along with everyone she meets. Other dogs, she loves them! People, give her more! Laramie enjoys to romp around when getting out of her kennel although only for a bit because she then enjoys the calming atmosphere of the sun on her face. Laramie has blossomed from shy girl to social sweetie. She has grown very well with leash walking since first arriving in December. Once past the shelter halls, the leash is no biggie and it’s game on for affection! 🐾🐾All about Scrappy Doo…If only Scrappy Doo were a little smaller, I could pick him up and hold him like a teddy bear. I think he would love it! He has a wiggly way of trying to get as close to you as he can… without being rude of course. Scrappy Doo was ready to play today as we took him out to our exercise area. He was running to meet all of the dogs through the fence in other areas, play-bowing and letting us know he was ready! After he got his people snuggles in, we let them come in and play. It did not take long for them to do quick sniffs and then bows, and they were off! We all just watched and smiled. Nothing like seeing happy dogs, knowing what some of these pups have been through. One thing that surprised me about this handsome boy was his gentle side. If he approached a shy dog, he would get down on his belly and wiggle around them so as not to overwhelm them. You could tell that he really wanted them to come play with him, but was ever so patient waiting until they were ready. Scrappy Doo would make a wonderful buddy, you would never feel unloved, he would do his best to make sure you know you are his favorite. I can see him finding a spot next to you on the couch, with his head in your lap, gazing into your eyes. Anybody need a little love in your life? Come ask to meet Scrappy Doo, you won’t be disappointed.

🩷LIBBY LOU…a beautiful brindle 1 1/2 year old 45lb heart worm positive boxer/bulldog mix is looking for rescue, adoption or a foster home! 😍Wimpy is your live-in therapy counsel for all of your stress relief, long day, decompression time, and take a deep breath days. No copay, no insurance billing, just one upfront adoption fee and this expert healer is yours. He is the epitome of “sharing the love”. This boy was all too nervous alone in his kennel not knowing why he was there and tucking himself as far back away as he could. Those stressful days were everyday for him. He trusted our staff to take care of him; he trusted them to help him. Staff sent up the bat signal to volunteers and they, too, jumped in to help Wimpy. With patience and persistence, we walked Wimpy out of his kennel to the exercise run where he snuggled up to nearest volunteer then greeted his brother, Xavier, in the next door run. Wimpy’s smile brought joyous tears my eyes. Wimpy loves so hard. He gives his whole self into a hug and melts all of you worry away. He lets you feel engulfed in unconditional love where nothing else matters in that deep breath of “I love you too, Wimpy”. He doesn’t need to be here when he can be home sharing the love that’s been poured into him. Ask for him now!

"Moore arrived to our home as a stray. We couldn't believe that such a great boy was on his own. Someone loved him before because he is an awesome dog that was already familiar with being in a home. He adores his humans and plays well with our dogs. He walks good on leash. He keeps his crate tidy. He's fine around our dog savvy cats--if they run he will chase in fun--and he will share a nap outside in the sun with the cats. Moore is very sweet and loves the attention of his humans. He would be fine in a home with or without other dogs--as long as he has his humans he is content. He immediately rolls over for belly rubs. He has a lovely soft black and white coat that doesn't shed. He's fully vetted, just 1 year young, heartworm negative and 58.8lbs. He's ready to go HOME!"
