💙 Home For Senior Hurley 💙

Most of us would agree that it's unfathomable that at 11 years old this beautiful boy has found himself homeless.

Hurley came to us as a stray. He had been rehomed, not claimed and his previous owner could not offer him a home. Hurley was extremely anxious and not in the best of health.

He has since then been with his fabulous foster carer Emma who has done wonders with Hurley. Hurley was initially on a high dose of medication to help him with his anxiety but he is nearly weaned off of them. All this boy needed was to feel loved, wanted and given the security that he so desired.

Hurley is a completely different boy. At eleven you would think he would be happy to take life easy ..... not our boy Hurley.

Hurley, Emma and senior foster canine brother go for 5km walks every evening. Often he goes swimming in the lake during these walks. Hurley loves to swim and this makes him so happy.

Hurley recently had some benign skin cancers removed from his tummy and inner leg. Hurley has healed and given the all clear from our vet. Now he is ready to find a loving permanent home.

Other pets: Hurley is extremely dog social and cat friendly as well. He currently shares a home with a senior cat and they sleep together in his foster carers lounge room. Often he gets hissed at but Hurley is a good boy and gives kitty a wide berth.

Type of household: Hurley loves being close to his humans and doesn’t cope with being locked outside on his own. Hurley’s ideal home would be with another doggy pal and a pawrent who is home more often than not. Someone who works from home perhaps or is retired. Hurley's foster canine brother is an eleven year old Staffy and they are great mates.

Hurley is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is up to date with flea/tick/worming treatments. Lifetime council registration is also included.
