Exciting news for our pups with a special purpose! 🌟

🐾✨ Introducing the ACS Therapy & Assistance Dog Recognition Program! ✨🐾

The Australian Cobberdog Society is proud to launch a new program recognising the incredible work Cobberdogs are doing to support their humans and communities.

Through this initiative, Cobberdogs can now be recognised across three meaningful categories:

🔹 Therapy Dogs – Working in structured Animal Assisted Therapy settings such as hospitals, aged care, and allied health practices.

🔹 Assistance Dogs – Supporting their owners directly with tasks like medical alerts, pressure therapy, retrieving items, mobility support and more.

🔹 School Wellbeing Dogs – Providing emotional support and connection to students and staff as part of school wellbeing programs.

Recognition levels range from Bronze to Platinum, celebrating their training, impact, and commitment.

Open to all ACS-registered Cobberdogs. If your Cobberdog is registered with another society, you’re still welcome to join the ACS and apply.

This is a flexible, owner-led recognition program based on real-life work and dedication. It's not a certification or accreditation process. 💛

Welcome Senna & Kobe puppies! I am so proud of this sweet girl, who gave us 9 gorgeous babies on 28 March ✨

Senna is a fantastic mother, as I knew she would be. The puppies are growing so fast, and are quiet and content as mom meets their every need 🐾

Lola and Motek's stunning puppies are 7 weeks old now, and while we enjoy our final week with them their families are counting down the days until their arrival! This has been such a special litter to raise, and their characters have really blown me away. These babies are so brave - so of course they had to be named after famous travellers, adventurers and explorers 🐾

I couldn't wait any longer to share that Senna's perfect match is Smiling Face Kobe! Finding, choosing, and travelling to visit Kobe took many hours, but I have a strong feeling it will be worth it. We'll find out in a few weeks if the mating was a success 🤞 It will be a first litter for both of them, so we are very curious and excited 🥰

Couldn’t resist posting Sundae’s transformation! Sundae is our hopeful future breeding girl from last summer’s litter with Nola and Takoda.

And no, it’s not your eyes, she really did change colour and hair texture! This is a great example of “sun bleaching” - after a summer of outdoor adventures with her family, Sundae was looking more brown than black. A haircut gave her that gorgeous deep colour back 🖤 You can also see the change from her wispy puppy coat to a soft and super shiny adult coat.

Proud of this girl, who is as sweet as she is beautiful, and her wonderful guardian family for raising her so well!

Sweet Lola became the very proud mother to 6 strong pups! It is so special to see a girl born here 3 years ago become a fantastic mother. Both of Lola’s parents, Nour and Balder, have been watching over their grand puppies with great interest ❤️ Only a few more weeks until the whole family can play together!

Too perfect 😍 Senna is all grown up and, having passed her health tests, almost ready to have puppies of her own! This girl has my WHOLE heart. To meet her is to fall in love. She is truly everything a Cobberdog should be ❤️ We are very grateful for Healing Soul Australian Labradoodles, and for her amazing guardian family for raising her so well and taking such good care of her 🥰

Lola (daughter of Nour and Balder) and Motek had a successful date, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for puppies born around Christmas! Lola and Motek are pictured here as puppies, and you can see why we’re excited 😍
